I'm going to pull the trigger finally on my first Thedi order. Planning on ordering directly but still waiting on confirming a final price before making that decision. Curious, does anyone have any recent pics of his cognac buffalo leather or feedback on it after maybe having lived with it for awhile? I'm curious about the weight and how it might potentially age over time. I've asked the man himself of course as well but as you know his response time these days is pretty scattered, so hoping some users here can help me answer some questions more quickly!

Appreciate this feedback. Here’s another question: I’ve just noticed that the zips are on the left side (for the Memphis at least). For American who are used to right hand zippers, is it weird to get used to? i’ve never had a jacket that zips on the left.

It's not that bad. All the 2 was zips are like that. You just have to pay attention if you zip it to the bottom with your right hand. You will think that it is stuck because you end up lifting the wrong side to unplug it. I imagine that is how they get broken. Someone thinks they are stuck in the jacket and gets rough with the pull tab rather than gently lifting the other side. If you try hard enough to force something in the wrong direction eventually bad things will happen.

I have both types of zips and I don't even notice the difference. So I would say you get used to it quickly.

Been waiting for my jacket for two years already.
Thedi kept ignoring my emails when I ask for a due date but would reply to other stuff.
Anyone else have prolonged waiting period recently?
