Gruene Mercantile today:
Very nice. Stretching it to fit?
Incredible!!!! :eusa_clap:eusa_clap:eusa_clap
It truly amazes me how many different styles Stetson was able to create using a black western felt body. I've seen so many of your Stetson westerns and they all have their own special character and look. The body only weighs 4.1 oz??? That's very lightweight for a western, especially one with a 6 1/4 crown and 3 1/2 inch brim. Modern day westerns probably have 4.1 ounces of shellac by itself. LOL
Does the re-order tag say 644 - 6 1/4 ?
Very nice. I thought Tailored edge was with binding.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. My first thought was that whatever a tailored edge was, it had been cut off on this hat. Then I found this Lounger auction which seems to also show a 3" raw edge brim. Perhaps it referred only to a diminutive western brim? Does seem odd.
