Hi, i have this jacket (not a suit jacket, just a zippered jacket thats a little below the waist) That i would like to put a belted back on. I saw another thread on doing this to a suit jacket, but it didnt help much. What i want to do is fold some pleats into the back and sew a belt over them, to put it basically. The jacket is roomy, so i think there would be enough fabric that i could do it without making it to small. Any thought or suggestions? Or opinions on whether or not i should do this?
