Quality of Brimaco?

How’s the quality of Brimaco? I own a Schott and expect to pass it down to my kid if I don’t take a spill while wearing it. Should I expect the same of a Brimaco?

Generally, yeah.
One thing about Brimaco is that the quality of their motorcycle jacket hasn't been constant throughout the years and it varied from okay to impressive. Few that I've had a chance to handle were so different it's hard to give a definite answer but they were all nice jackets. One newer CR that I had was Vanson grade jacket (and that's good Vanson we're talking about). Other one was lighter than the lightest Brooks.

^This is so true. I've owned about a dozen. The very best of which was a royal blue CR. It would stand on it' own like an Aero or Vanson. It was the only one ever that thick or good. The others I would put very much in the Brooks tier of weight and thickness.
