With your extensive experience is producing custom hats, can you decide right away what kind of hat style fits a certain type of person, either in terms of physical (face, head shape, body, etc), even personality? ? Because in some hatter sites or news (I forgot) I sometimes read that customer is suggested to come by himself, so the hatter can talk to him, observe the personality, so the hatter can produce the best hat that suits the customer. Is this true? I know that it may be discussed frequently, many say it's just personal taste about style, but do you personally think that there are specific rules in deciding which type of hats suit certain type of person? Say a person with certain physical quality would look best wearing wide brim with certain crown bash, with certain type of ribbon etc etc... What do you think? And what if a customer come to you and ask, "I want to make a ... hat", whil you know that type of hat would look awful on him?
