Re-Re-Weaving?

Who's the champ at re-weaving suitings?
Can s/he take an obvious re-weave (with the little "square" visible) and make it not so obvious?
Share your experiences, please.

Over the years I've used Without A Trace with complete satisfaction. I've heard good things about Alice Zotta and French American Reweavers in NYC but have never used them.

I learned early on that many tailors and dry cleaners will claim expertise in reweaving but will rarely (never) be up to the task.

Isn't the process hideously difficult and expensive?
