Removing makeup from hat.

Well it didn't take longer than about two weeks for my twelve year old daughter to accidentally smear bright yellow oil-based halloween makeup on the ribbon and felt of her brand new black towncraft fedora. :rage:

I am hoping that Vintage Betty, the lovely Mrs. JT or perhaps DeeLovely can offer some suggestions as to how to remove it.

I just cleaned some of my hats with Scout Cleaner I bought from
Aaron Hats. It worked great. You might want to give it a try.

I took ink out of a satin liner, by using a "Spray and Wash" stain remover stick. After applying, I let it sit for longer than called for in the directions. I then washed it in cold water and mild dish washing detergent. IT CAME OUT!

I've had luck with hat stains using the Gonzo Wonder Sponge.
