I need some advice. I just saw a shawl collar w/ boutonniere hole, one button fastening, ivory coloured "Repel-O-tized by Northcool: Stain and spot resistant" jacket in a thrift store. The fabric felt like i've heard Palm Beach fabric described. The jacket was quite a large size, with no size tags, no union tags, skeleton lined, flapless besom pockets. As advertised it was stain- and spot-free
The problem: It was $30
Here's what i want to know. Does anyone know anything about this fabric? Is it desireable for resale? Is it worth getting it at $30 (would i make a decent profit)?
Google search throws up very little, except an ebay listing for esquire from 1952 advertising suits made of this fabric, and a page with the image below:
My thanks in advance for your expert fabric and/or clothing resale knowledge
