So I picked up a Richman Steins, Richcraft hat today.

A nice looking hat. Dark chocolate brown with a 2 inch ribbon , a red and black feather tucked in and a crown pin below , 1 3/4 brim.

The liner says Richman Steins .

The leather sweatband says Richman Steins with a gold crown on top of it on one side, and Richcraft on the other side.

It only needed a good brushing, no nibbles or odors..

I am trying to find out more information about it... I found a post here that shows Richman Brothers bought or merged with Stein Stores in 1959. So it is probably from the 60's.

I have seen hats with the Richman Brothers label but never one like this.

I will take some pics tomorrow in the dayligjht....

Anyone have any other info on this brand or own a hat like this ?????

I have never seen a Richman hat with the stein name in it, Thought that was curious....

I was surprised as how well it cleaned up, must have been sitting around all those years collecting vintage dust ...:D

I have seen probably only one or two other than yours so they are not all that common out here. Maybe back near where the original stores were they might be more common. [huh]
