Good day,
Lots of conflating information on how that jacket fits. I am after a 671 from the Japanese market, but a 641 seems to be identical in cut. I am 37" in chest, 150lbs in weight, 31" ish in waist, 5'7" in height. For reference, a Schott 530 and a RM Buco J100 fit well with a shirt underneath at sizes S and 38 respectively.
I live in the PNW, so it doesn't get extremely cold usually in the winter, but still wouldn't mind having a jacket that can go with a light hoodie underneath.
My question is, would a 641 in size 38 fit too large to where I would swim in it with just a shirt? Would a 641 in size 36 be too tight for layering?
My guess is that the liner affects the way the jacket wears in a significant manner. Appreciate your input.
