Schott guys opinion-lose or keep the zipper tab?

Interested in hearing from the Schott faithful what the consensus is on the leather zipper tab? My older Perfectos look cool without it but I don’t hate it on the new ones. Is there any iconic cool cred to be lost or gained from the tab or is it akin to hacking off the belt?

Personal preference, but I would keep it unless it bothers you. It makes it easier to grab the pull with gloves on.

I hate that kind of tab. Leather pull looks better.

I keep all of them on my (many) Schotts... In everyday life, it is much more pleasant to use it than manipulating the metal zip itself directly.
