Just picked up a pair of these boots on the cheap, liked the style and weight, quite light and very comfortable. Liked them so much I didn't notice they construction, non Goodyear. But I'm a bit confused, though the leather some is not Goodyear welted round the edge, the upper itself is stiched through the foot bed?
So it's totally a cemented construction?
If I were to get these re soled when needed would it be possible to make them a Goodyear welt?
They are a sturdy enough boot to last, but I always worry about the foot bed
