Single Button, DB suit with no lapel button hole?

I picked up what is obviously a 1980s single button DB suit that has no button hole on the lapel. For that matter labels anywhere in the suit and the lining has some leaf type of design. There are three pockets inside, much like my other suits. The cost was right (free)

Is this normal or common in the 80s or did I pick up a ladies suit?

I'm new to this, but I believe that it could be a ladies suit. I wouldn't be able to tell with certainty without seeing it in person or seeing it on a person though...

What would possibly make you think it was a women's suit? It buttons to the right, it has the chest pocket on the left … It's certainly a men's suit.

Yeah, puts me in mind of one of those early-mid Eighties takes on an early Fifties db. Some of those are really nice. Quite like this one, actually - and I'm not normally a fan of the six-on-one.
