What does one use to sand ( for lack of the correct word) slightly seen Moth Tracks on the under side of a fur felt brim.

Thanks for helping out.

You are basically pouncing the felt around the moth tracks down to the level of the tracks. I use ultra fine sand paper in graduating grits. I have some 1500 grit but it is like wiping notebook paper on the felt. 350 or higher would be my choice. I do have this flexible sanding "sponge" that has 3 levels medium, fine & ultra fine. I use only the fine & ultra fine unless I have cut down a brim... HTH
