Just in time for warm weather, here is a pair of super nice, tropical weight trousers in what I think might be called a "shantung" weave - they are very light, and I am not certain about the material - possibly a linen blend. The weave is somewhat open and somewhat resembles the old Palm Beach cloth, but I don't think it is - doesn't feel like there is any wool in it.
The rise is extremely high, with the double, reverse pleats going all the way to the top of the waistband. Dropped belt loops, metal zip, and very large metal hook closure. Waistband lined in a light silk twill, and pockets, etc are white cotton. Watch pocket in waistband, and button tab closure on left rear pocket
Overall condition is very good - no holes, tears or visible wear - there is a little staining at the rear of the waistband - probably the combination of a leather belt and sweat.
Dimensions are as follows: Waist 40" - about 1" to let out, Inseam 27", Outseam 41", Cuffs 1 3/4" with approx 2" turned under - about 1 1/2 of that could be let out. Yes - the legs are a bit stumpy, but they could be lengthened a bit - quite a bit if you are willing to sacrifice part or all of the cuffs.
