SOLD The Real McCoy's Buco J-100 - Size 40

SOLD This lovely J-100 arrived from Standard & Strange on March 4th, 2024. It has been worn only occasionally since then... while I love this jacket, the lack of pockets is a thing for me. I need hand warmers, I need an interior pocket... I'm one of those guys.

So while this jacket fits like nothing else, it just never ended up being what I'd reach for. If you're the minimalist type, here's your ride.

The jacket is in excellent shape with the vast majority of break-in still to come. Interior is perfect. There are a few edges where some tea-core effect is starting to happen... this occurs more or less immediately with this particular hide.

Currently these are selling for a truly bananas $2,430, although the size 40 is sold out in the US, which means you have to go through either RMC's site or possibly another overseas stockist- either way if it comes from anywhere outside the US, you'll have to cough up the Japanese-origin tariff which sits at 15%, so total will be $2,794.50, plus whatever shipping and standard duties work out to.

I am asking $1,000 for this one, shipped CONUS. Zelle or PayPal F&F, please.

Thanks!

I have that jacket in that same size but old fit. I will attach a photo for fit …. This jacket is timeless and perfect to dress up or down. (Disclaimer the photo is just to show you how this jacket looks when paired with some denim and nice boots I am not the seller and that jacket will never leave my collection :) )

Oh man... see, that's the kind of shot that makes me second-guess the sale, lol

@Bender lol didn’t mean for that but yeah the J100 is absolutely one of my favorites. so much so that I am tempted to get this one from you. Now the one is the pic is the old fit and I hear the new fit is a bit more relaxed which is awesome.

Lol, yeah, the old fit (BJ9110) and new fit (BJ19110) are a bit different.

I think the biggest difference is in the shoulders which are wider on the 19110.

Some people say the 9110 is more fitted overall, but I don't know... I also have a size 40 BJ9110 in brown with wine lining (for sale if anyone is interested), and I think most of it boils down not to pattern, but sizing. A size 40 9110 in my estimation fits like 39. Not quite a 38, not quite a 40. Whereas I feel like a size 40 19110 fits like a true slim 40.
