-breathability?
-robustness?
I'm asking, because I need some decision-aid.
Thanks.

John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. This isn't really the greatest place to discuss synthetics. I wonder if the suit section might be a better place to talk fabric qualities?
I can say that even artificial fabrics come in better and worse versions and some mixes. Some poly-corduroy I've seen is stronger than cotton cord. But the look is different. She sheen is too bright.
Fake velvet will always feel and look slightly wrong. Genuine velvet doesn't breathe well given its density but it probably breezes better than the artificial version.
What is the garment?
