Well gentlemen looks like I will sending in some ideas to have a peacoat made with Jl as of now the leather selected is a British tan for fun I’m having them send me some elk swatches if I decide to switch leathers

Warm weather has limited my time with both of these jackets so I can't really speak to what the Aspen hide is like over time.

That being said I must say this horsehide is real comfortable right out of the box. The burgundy jacket is at 3 oz and the navy is split to 3.5 oz and is just as easy to wear. The glossy appearance of the surface finish is quite pronounced, and is something that I will be interested to see how it develops over time. Overall though great first impressions. The color and grain stands out!

Continuing with the Rugged West. The no. 10 zipper is beefy and will need some time to get completely smooth . Needs some effort to zip up and down.

Put some zipper lube on it.

How scratch resistent is the topcoat? My biggest issue with CXL is how easily it scratches..

Put some zipper lube on it.

Thanks . I have used some cadle wax on it and its improving with use. The jacket has thick and heavy leather and so the zipper has to handle that stiffness as well.

Finally getting this natural hh to work with my skin tone, the color depth on it is insane, and varies greatly with light, but it’s really hard to capture in pictures.

Aero shack again in black badalassi glad I picked up this one and the the brown one it really allows me to get my leather fix in the summer I bet it will look so much better at they break in side

Looks great with those boots. I have a brown shack and need to break it out of the back of the wardrobe and wear it more often.

Yeah it’s easy to just fall in love with jackets get your beat brother it goes great with everything and gives off a cool look
