Silver Anniversary

Since basketball season is now over, it is with great frustration that we observe the Silver Anniversary of Philadelphia's professional championship losing streak. This represents a full one hundred professional seasons of utter futility. Go Phils, go Flyers, go Eagles, go Sixers... go away! :rage:

Oh you're fine as long as you are doing books but running companies just never works out. Too much worrying about the bottom line and not so much quality. Not necessarily you are you are now educated but I am sure you know some of your brethren who are always focused on the bottom line. :D

We can still buy hats made by hatters if we have the doe and the will to send it. Looking for a steal there is ebay, want a cheap hat, Stetson mall hats are available. Back in the day, they did not have all these selections .

I really like how the New York times has scans and transcriptions of pretty much every article ever published in their paper.

Just a week ago I was looking for a replacement crystal for a pocket watch and one of the search results was an article about celluloid watch crystals from the late 1890s or early 1900s.

Marvelous stuff, really. Might have to go trudging through their archives some time if I ever get exceptionally bored.
