    Ok Gentlemen, **Sold**
Here is an exceptional late 1940's/early 50's Stetson Whippet for your consideration.
    Size tagged is 7 1/4. I would typically wear a 7 1/4 or 7 1/4LO, I would call this particular hat a 7 1/8LO for our general vintage knowledge.
The hat is in outstanding condition, virtually new, as you can see in the photos provided.
Even the original shop sales price tag remains on the sweatband(loosely should you choose to remove it).
The Felt has a wonderful hand and is easily shapeable.
There are no flaws to this hat whatsoever.
Sweatband is indeed, soft, and supple and shows absolutely no signs of wear.
Liner in perfect, clean, and shows Stars in the Crest, with a perfect Oil Skin top liner.
    Wind Trolley to boot.
Very nice Grey color felt with Black Ribbon and Matching Grey Brim Binding.
Just a superior example of a Vintage Stetson Whippet.
Please see photos for specific measurements. Brim is 2 1/2" unflipped.
Priced at $525 Paypal FF(Friends & Family) shipped in the Continental US. If you're outside US, you pay the shipping.
    Thank you for having a look. IMG_6691.jpg IMG_6684.jpg IMG_6681.jpg IMG_6685.jpg IMG_6686.jpg IMG_6689.jpg IMG_6690.jpg IMG_6694.jpg IMG_6695.jpg IMG_6693.jpg

Nice example, but yes, a little snug for a 7 1/4, it seems.

    Paintsville, Ky, eh?

Very nice Whippet! I remember back in the day when the majority of the Classified listings where Fedoras. The good ol' days. :)
