If I were intending on gluing a new ribbon onto an straw panama hat (a $30 hat, nothing fancy), what sort of glue should I be using?

NB
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Do the hatbands on straws come glued on the hat? That's a surprise to me. Why not a few stitches, like on a felt hat? Thanks!SHARPETOYS said:I've used a hot glue *** before with no ill effects on the straw to hold a ribbon in place...![]()
.....what do you do with the end piece, the raw edge?RBH said:NB-13, I have used the double stick carpet tape to attach ribbon on some of my straws, it works good and is not hard to change ribbon out if you should want.
