It's kind of fun that way huh? . I'm having Carrie/Aero do the same for the lining/buttons. My brain has already worked too hard, and I'm not fussy on the details. It's fun to plan and get carried away with the options, but it's equally maddening. I did mention the leather lapel facings though. Good call.

That's going to be an absolutely smashing jacket. Perfect and I mean PERFECT hide choice for the style. Can't wait to see how it turns out and how it ages. That natural hide looks sooooo nice. Well done Nick!

So long story short this is the first time in my adult life I don't owe taxes. I'm just as surprised as I am. Now, the immediate question is: what jacket to buy? What is everyone currently drooling on?

I know the answer is, "do what your heart fancies Nick", but I have no heart, and I like just about everything, so I ask the fine people on this forum.

I am drooling on this Schott Bros Café 664 model .It is on sale for $150 less than asking from their site. I am in love with the shoulder cap sleeves.

A ton of knowledgeable Schott people here who will no doubt be of assistance. Sadly, not me! I had a vintage Schott CHP jacket I gave away to a gal and never saw it again...
