It's easier to get forgiveness than permission from my carbon based spousal unit. She does allow me to be bad on occasion, and this was one of them (could it be I'm taking her to Hong Kong over Christmas?)
I got an Open Road and an Adventurebilt from Mike (Feraud) and they arrived today! Oh yeah!!!! Thas whut I'm takin' 'bout! Nice!
High straight crown, 2 3/4 brim, the OR has a similar look to my vintage Borso but with a teardrop rather than a diamond bash and the crown is a wee bit taller (maybe 1/4"?). They are different enough to be distinguished from each other.
The Adventurebilt, well, what's to say! I like it! It can be worn anywhere, with anything. Well, maybe a tux might be a stretch.....
I'll get pictures up when I can. Now, if I could just get the chief pilot to let me wear this instead of........ nah....he won't go for it..... just a thought
