Thanks Dean. I appreciate your thoughtfulness. I used the ribbon to replace one on a Stevens Imported Milan Straw. This was not the original intent of the ribbon. I hope you don't mind. It was intended to possibly replace the western style ribbon on a Stetson 7X. I tried it on the hat, by slipping it over the crown, it just didn't look right, and the colors didn't really accent the hat. So, I thought I would try it on this Stevens Straw. IMHO I think it looks great on this straw. Here are the before & after pics. The new ribbon gives the hat a competely new look. At least I think so.

Good choice! Looks great! Glad you're happy with it! I hope the ghost of the old ribbon will fade relatively soon.
