Forgive me for posting the same picture in two thread, but here is my new brown bowler. It is by Bailey of Hollywood, and while it is not the highest quality hat per se, it is comfortable and affordable. Not medium brown though, more of a chocolate.

I like how the color deepened and how it patterned, and last but not least my vintage Portis Frolicking Bunny Bowler in dark brown.

...the bowler in with the straw boater as a hat that should have transitioned better to the modern era than it did. With it's small brim it works better with head rests, and it has in a way, sort of a modern look despite it's vintage.

Maybe it's so far out it's ready to come back big time.

Funny, I forget about that knife. There are some tools that I never go anywhere without, and that is one of them. I think that had I lived 100 years ago I would have carried a folding knife in the city and a sheathed belt knife elsewhere. Now that I think of it a nice sheath on my belt would go perfect with my brown suit and bowler. Perhaps a leather sheath with some fringe or Indian beadwork? Hmmm, now my wheels are turning.

Hello mr. gambler! That is a great outfit! I get enough **** from just wearing a fedora, I can't imagine the harrasment if I dressed like that. but you just ooze cool in that outfit.
