When you find one this nice, you just have to share. Almost perfect condition, open crown, I believe manufactured under the Mr, Disney brand by Lee (who were licensed to make Cavanagh Edges (called Edgelee), and owned Mr. Disney) with a 2 1/4 inch brim.

Pre-1947 Disney Fifteen. Has 2 7/8 inch Cavanagh type felted edge and 5 3/4 inch open crown. As soon as my fingers reached into the box and grabbed the brim, the immediate sensation was "Borsalino Peluche", and that's what it resembles. Ultra soft and can be instantly shaped in any manner. A masterpiece.

I recently picked up this Disney Lancer. The size was not listed and turned out to be a bit too large for me in 7-3/8. It's a beautiful porkpie and cleaned up well! It's a gorgeous deep black felt. Brim snaps easily.

This brown Disney Fifteen doesn't have the same Peluche type feel as the other brown Fifteen I've posted on this page. This one has normal felt. There's no store name on the sweatband. The Disney emblem in the liner does have gold printing and details, but they are faded or worn off a good bit. This hat had made it's way up to Montreal, where the seller was located.
