That's funny you should raise this topic since I did some illustration work on Rick Goldschmidt's book of the same title, The Enchanted World of Rankin/Bass. They didn't have any photos of the Burgomeister Meisterburger animation model so I was tapped to provide an image.

The website explains what ways they took.

They brought some great shows and animation to television, though.

Mr. Chiarelli, isn't that book a rare find now?

It's been nearly a decade since it's original release, so the hardcover version almost certainly is a collectors item. I'm sure the softcover edition is still in print though, with places like Bud Plant still offering it.

At any rate I'm covered (horrible pun intended!) - Rick gave me a few first edition signed hardcovers as a thank you!

I'd like to find a hardcover one day. I've seen photos of the pages, great stuff. I don't blame him for giving you a couple copies! Looking at the illustration you posted would give me good reason to do the same. Great artwork!

Thank you! I'll contact Rick and see if he has an extra copy available. No guarantees though: he never returns phone calls or e-mails anymore.

I Love them!

And Fred Astaire as a mail man....
Those were the Good 'ol Days...
Plus I loved the Norelco Shaver
Santa commercial, gliding thru
the snow, and waving. zing! zing!

:eusa_clap That would be great if you did and he did!

Thank you. Maybe he is just busy, it happens to the best of us. :)
