The famous VW Beetle commercial about the snow plow

I was on top of the world when I found Doyle, Dane, Bernbach's Volkswagen TV spot about the snow plow - until I played it. For 40 years I remembered Burgess Meredith doing the voice over about like this: Have you ever wondered how the man who drives the snow plow gets to the snow plow? . . . Now you know.

The TV spot I downloaded has the same basic information and vaguely similar video, but it is not what I thought I remembered. Were there, in fact two "snow plow" TV spots, one of which had Burgess Meredith doing voice over? If I am remembering correctly, does anyone have a copy of the spot?
