I apologize if that has been discussed already and I simply did not find it. I am thinking of adding a cafe racer leather jacket to my ward robe but cannot decide between the two options - The Flat Head or The Real McCoy's. I read about the difference such as more historical accuracy of the RMC and the slightly slimmer silhouette of the FH. However, I was wondering if anyone has first hand experience with them and would be willing to share their opinions and preferences about these two jackets. Unfortunately, I do not how have a shop anywhere close to try either one of them out and see for myself.

Thanks,
Boris

To pile onto this question with another - if anyone is familiar with both. Is there a difference in the pigment/aniline & teacore effect in the Shinki used between the two? Flat Head says semi-aniline, wondering if the wear is a lot less 'flaky' in terms of wear effect over time than the pictures I have seen of RMC (a lot more pictures of RMC than FH).

I have read (but only in one place) that some of the RMC older J-22's had Semi-Analine...is there more truth to that?

In my opinion from what I have seen on both jackets, their aging ist not different. I haven't seen a RMC "flaking" - but maybe this has changed during their versions of the jacket (as the fit)?
