I'm new here but thought since there wasn't much on Flat Head jackets I'd post up.
In my pursuit to buy my first nice leather jacket I started looking at used sites. I found a seller who had a jacket that might be just right for me from the Brand I was most intrigued with. Sure it was going to cost me 3 or 4 times what I was wanting to pay from a Chinese seller, but I could feel confident that his was truly a top notch Shinki-Hikaku Horse **** teacore jacket. I was a little nervous about the sizing as I did my best to measure every comparable jacket I had in my closet. Based on the dimensions the seller provided and the Flat Head website I believed this would be a pretty good fit for my body. Looking at it now I probably could fit one size down for my more narrow shoulders, but it would be a bit tight in the body which isn't really my comfort zone. I'm quite pleased with this jacket. It has a really wonderful aroma, and there isn't a thread out of place on the whole jacket. It's almost shocking how well it is executed. It is stiff enough to stand on its own. but after I wear it for a half hour or so it starts to give way and let move with more freedom despite the constant squeaks it utters. The only complaint I could offer is that the cut is wide in the shoulders, apparently by design. It does look the part though.

Looks great man! I have the same jacket in a 44 as well, it has broken in nicely! I feel ya on the sizing. The wide shoulders are part of the Flat Head's usual fit, which coupled with the slim chest makes it sometimes hard to nail the fit.

The leather is out of this world.
