Thanks. You’re right, it’s still a beautiful hat. I’ll just freeze it for a while, in the cold garage, make sure all those little clothes eaters are dead. And probably just use it as a nice beater.
For $40 that's a great deal, for free it's ridiculous.
There are tons of hats up on the bay with real moth damage that people are listing in the $200 plus range (not sure they're getting it, but that's what they're listing for).
Definitely freeze it or whatever to make sure there's not more larvae, but you got yourself a killer hat. Enjoy it!
