My Akubra Silver Spur. We've been through a lot together.

My old Stetson that I found in an antique store when I was a young teenager, all I can remember is that it was a John Deere model. It was my first felt hat. My hat before that was a leather hat that shrank and wrinkled up rather quickly.
I cut it apart and used a strip of crown to make the hat band on this hat. I proceeded to wear it for many years. This hat saw a lot of use and abuse. I remember using it as a popcorn bowl while watching a movie at a friend's house. Used it as a pillow many times as a youngster passed out on a floor somewhere. Wore it on stage for years at bar gigs. Now it hangs in my music room.

OOOh, thank you @AbbaDatDeHat for renewing this. I'll have to give this some thought, but I think it certainly includes the hat that led me to commenting here after years of lurking, my Gray/Black Tesi Parabuntal straw. Practically weightless and the reason I began working with straw hats in addition to felts.
