I have an older friend from Boston and he sometimes wears an ascot with his pink Brooks Brothers shirt and khaki Lands End shorts. Somehow he makes this look work but it’s not for everyone.

I was experimenting with ideas for the red thedi, so I though I might as well try some ideas with this jacket

What do you think, does this work with the jacket?

If I saw someone walking down the street dressed like this, I would think "what a well dressed man". Great outfit!

Always loved this particular Thedi model, thought it would look particularly good in his 'Espresso Buffalo' hide, but GF really hates the large collar & cross-zips on me generally [even though this one buttons]. Hard to justify the cost when I know she'd be cringing every time I wore it.

I would not modify this IMO perfect jacket. Probably choosing a different brownish leather (goat, buffalo, deer) or the grey buffalo does look good, too.

At some point I thought about getting a second one in grey actually, but then with all the options Thedi offers, I thought might as well try something new

Does the leather become darker after you care about the leather with mink oil or SAPHIR? The original color looks more orange.

I work with a guy who wears an ascot unironically. We sell graves for a living, if anyone is curious. Anyway, he pulls it off and actually manages to look like a guy you'd see walking the deck of a 1920's cruise ship.

This is such a nice model and hide. I am thinking of ordering one with this tan buffalo even though I have one already in brown goat! Great choice!

How do you like this jacket in goatskin. Thinking of picking one up but curious how the pattern comes out in a more pliable leather.
