Thedi Leathers. Thurston Bros. Phenix Quilted Cafe' Racer, size **L, in Black veg-tanned Italian buffalo. This jacket style is fully customized for our shop with antiqued nickel hardware, tan cotton liner, zip sleeves, a left-side interior pocket, and contrast stitching. The buffalo is a beautiful Italian leather that has been tanned to have a moderately soft yet sturdy feel--it's the perfect durable and wearable jacket! The styling is pure 1960s cool with two chest pockets and a straight yoke on the back...homage to the Buco J-100. Featuring classic diamond quilting on the shoulders and elbows.

I might have to think on this one . How heavy is it ? I’m in Texas and we only get about 3 days of cold weather …. Ha ha

I hear you, the same thing happened to me. Haha.
The jacket isn't heavy at all. I have heavy horsehide jackets and this one is much lighter.
I don't think you will have any issues with it down there.
