Thoughts on Suede jackets like Schott 370

Good to know! The front of the Majestic looks perfect, I’m just not so sure about the back.

I like these richer, golden and reddish brown suedes.

Thanks! Rich, golden, reddish browns are my favorite leather colors. Plus suedes usually are dark brown or duller tans so I was really happy to find this.

FYI, response I just received from the good folks at Schott:

375 is lighter weight and looser fitting. This leather is a Rough Out with no top grain which makes it lighter weight and more drapey.

370 is about 20% heavier weight and slimmer fitting. This leather has the top grain on the inside which makes the jacket significantly stiffer in the beginning.

Both have lined sleeves now.

They also sent Excel sizing sheets that I'll try to paste in here:

Nice! The differences between weight, quality, and cut are not obvious from their site.

Gotta say- would be nice if the sleeves were lined on mine.
