My dad earned his Ph.D. and had an active professional life as a teacher and Professional Engineer. I have all his certificates and such boxed - I will soon (I hope) build a notebook holding all of them. it's the only way I can think of to preserve them and also deal with the volume they present. His high school diploma (@1937) may be in his box of high school memorabilia....I haven't looked through it yet.

Thanks y'all. thats so nice of you all to say.
1938 was when granny got her diploma. I can only imagine how important it was back then, to be the 'educated' woman :) I talk to some of my friends and they tell me their grandparents never even got their HS diplomas. Makes me feel a bit special.

Here is my granny all pictured out in her cap and gown (LOVE the shoes!)

A lovely photo of a beautiful lady...and I really like your idea of displaying the diplomas together.
