Anyone has the Jelado One Star? I remember seeing a cherry one here before. Are they made by Y2? Leather looks like the Y2 aniline.

The Jelado one is a 2 star and IMO a copy of Windward.

The sizing on these scares me a little. Let me get my feet wet with the TM using what seems like old sizing to let me have a feel. 42 can mean so many different things…. Thanks again on the FJ intel. Only they’re offering instant 10% the other proxies I’ve used only 5% and only as a credit after shipment. Sneaky *******s.

Don't mention it. I almost got the Jelado on Yahoo Auction jp and again the online Inazuma Festival. Decided that it is not a good fit for me.

as posting pics in this forum is quite troublesome i decide not to send pics and posts here ( may be someday later i am less busy i would write some **** about my jackets then),
you guys can check my instagram id malluco1203 to see some pics of groovin high, but basically theres tons of pics of groovin high at the hashtag of that brand.
For groovin high, the official measurement is not correct but overated, I takes xl instead of L. I think it is a casual leather jacket, because the manufacturer may not be that professional as a motocycle leather jacket maker. The cutting is loose fit, the leather is good, and one thing i dont like is there is no leather pull or canvas pull for the main zipper, that looks pretty stupid. Overall i give them around 82 to 85 out of 100.
As for bill kelso, the price is quite close to groovin high, but the bk leather is liberty horsehide, which is to me, a bit similar to cowhide instead, and as i choose 42r (r represents regular), the body length and sleeve length is very very short. As i give them all my measurements and they are so confident of their product but not to remind me about these. I was a bit disappointed at that time. maybe 74-78 out of 100
I think both of them represents the very classic one star jacket, but now bk durable with shinki horsehide is very expensive and not worthy, I personally recommend you to buy groovin high before they are out of stock, they are a small workshop and only produce limited amount of leather jacket, also kind reminder, as I said, dont take it seriously and compare to freewheelers or real mccoys or others, thats meaningless and waste of time, it is just a very simple one star horsehide jacket from a small group of people do it for fun (for their own fun and luckily there are some inventories remained for customers who know their brand). Enjoy.

jelado body length is quite long which to me is typical japanese modification that I dont like. And I prefer silk or wool lining, the one star jacket of jelado, toys mccoy and bill kelso have quilted lining. Maybe thats way i kept groovin high with me after considering so many brands' one star jacket

Nice jacket! Underarm footballs are nice touch. Unfortunately they were out of stock already when I checked, Ratstyle store... That's where I saw them first from Instagram. But I didn't know they made them themselves. Good info. Thanks.

They accept pre order for limited amount of jackets, the deadline is normally around June. You could pick a dealer and ask for the catalog in advance so that you won't miss it.

I wanted to share some details of my new Toys McCoy Durable Code 33 that I just purchased.

I got it through Buyee in "like-new" condition. There was also a 15% Buyee coupon so that also decreased the price.

Size 42

MEASUREMENTS:
Shoulder: 20"
Chest: 22"
Length: 23.5"
Sleeves: 25"
Hem: 19" !!!!

The hem/bottom size should help determine what size you should purchase, unless zipping up is optional for you.

The pattern for this jacket has very broad shoulder compared to the Schott One Star Perfecto which has short shoulders.

I'm not an expert on leather but, IMO, it seems quite soft and malleable. I'm comparing this to other leathers I own (ex: Y2 Leather's "Vintage Horse") which are usually stiff and hard to break in.

I'm 5'8", 180 lbs, and 40" chest.
