Here's some official(?) photos of USN uniforms from I'm guessing WWII era, although I don't know. It's from a series of slides in the National Archives so maybe someone can find it. Note the differences between the officer's bridge coat and CPO bridge coat (black buttons shared with the enlisted peacoat, and no epaulets).
