Van Morrison's Fedora

Any guesses as to what Van is wearing? At first I thought it was an Akubra Banjo Paterson.
Now I'm not so sure.

Well, the man wears cool hats. I saw him at the George Mason Patriot Center five or six years ago in the summer, and he had a dynamite wide-brim Panama hat. Fantastic. The only comparable one I saw in the arena was mine, an expensive Borsalino Montecristi fedora.

It does look like a Banjo, but I don't have one, so I couldn't say for sure.

It does look like a Banjo, but the hatband doesn't seem to be the original baramundi one that comes with that model. But I replaced mine with ribbon, so maybe he replaced his, too.
