Vintage Picnic Club in the UK?

I've just seen details of the Tweed Run in the UK which is a vintage bicycle outing where the participants dress accordingly (Tweed all round!)

I am not a cyclist but run a 1930 Packard car and I'm looking for likeminded people to see if we can get a picnic club going in the Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire area.

The idea would be to meet on sunny Sundays in the grounds of a stately home and do the full 1920's / 1930's picnic thing

Anyone interested?

RE: posting pictures - first you open a free account on a photo website like Photobucket. Then upload the pics and copy the link from there as a photo link in your message. Do a search - several posts and no doubt a "sticky" on that.

Yes Chatsworth House is the obvious choice, but we are spoilt for choice in this area
