Blocked in crown, black sweat, different (though original looking) ribbon.
While it could be, I have NEVER seen a Stratoliner ad with this type ribbon.Dinerman said:Stetson redesigned other of their classic names. Just look at the *******. It wouldn't surprise me to hear of them doing that to the strat towards the end of its run.

I've seen wide brown smooth ones ,wide brown textured ones and thin dark brown textured sweats, but not black ones.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. besdor said:The sweatband is typical of hats made during the 1960's from Stetosn. I think that the hat was refurbished . The band is not original. The blocking of the crown was probably done by the owner of the hat . It was a common practice years ago for hat renovators to use "parts" of old hats when fixing hats that were brought in to be cleaned.
