As much as I love all those wonderful hat advertisements on matchbooks........this is by far my favorite. The only thing to make it better would be if she was wearing a mens hat......

Seems strange that Stetson would have advertising showing riding to hounds. The only hats involved are hunt caps. Maybe because it's thought of as British, it's thought to be sophisticated.

Later came the Match Book with "Close Cover Before Striking".
Then arrived the Match Cover with the back surface friction strip.
Now we have propane lighters with the WARNING sign "KEEP AWAY FROM FACE WHILE USING."
