I don't have a whippet. it looks like a fairly narrow brim but maybe its becausethe crown is so tall. not surehow it will look bashed. i might go for it if you don't want it. Just don't want a last minute bidding war with you

That baby is yours. It should clean up nice. The brim should be 2 1/2" and there should be a normal ribbon under that mess of feathers---something for the wife or girlfriend.
