Two for rue...

Don't know if you've already watched these before. I only found them now.
There's isn't a lot of footage of Al Bowlly singing so these are two very rare gems. Both clips from 1933.

Smith Ballew and his Orchestra -- I'll String Along With You (1934)

You may not be an angel
Cause angels are so few
But until the day that one comes along
I'll string along with you
I'm looking for an angel
To sing my love song to
And until the day that one comes along
I'll sing my song to you

For every little fault that you have
Say, I've got three or four
The human little faults you do have
Just make me love you more
You may not be an angel
But still I'm sure you'll do
So until the day that one comes along
I'll string along with you

And now for something completely different...

The late and great Micheal O'Domhnaill of Bothy Band fame singing the wonderful traditional Irish-gaelic song 'Tiochfaidh An Samhradh' (Summer will come) with Kevin Burke on fiddle and Donal Lunny on guitar. R.I.P. Micheal.

Don Carlos and his Rumba Band - Sweet Amorita (1930)

Lou Gold was a very popular orchestra leader during the 1920s. He was born Lewis Milton Goldwasser in 1894, and mainly active in the New York area during the 1920s and 1930s as a composer, pianist and orchestra leader. His orchestra made several recordings both with his own name and with different pseudonyms, depending on what label the recordings were made for.
