May have been Bing's dress code for his last Christmas special, though I don't think he was there to enforce it. No Ziggy Stardust.
I'm listening to all my favorite holiday tunes and sipping coffee with eggnog in it. The taste is turning my stomach, but so what? I'm in the moment
Bing is the coolest man in that room by a mile. He knows what everybody's saying and he JUST DOESN'T CARE.
This has been one of my favorites for a long time, and has been an on again off again ringtone for me for the past few years now.
I got 8 Martin Denny albums for Christmas, all Scamp releases from the mid- to late-90s. Crystal clear sound, even on my 500 watt home theater. I find it extremely relaxing. The mono 1957 recording of Exotica is my favorite so far.
Winding down the radio station for Epiphany tomorrow, apparently down from a peak of 212 simultaneous listeners to only 13 (mostly because the holiday season was culturally over in the U.S. at midnight Dec 26th). While checking in on the stream, just heard this forgotten gem/very early rap
Oh that Ish Kabibble with his Christmas list. I love those Kyser records with the whole "the gang's all here" atmosphere.
With the current discussion in the "So Trivial..." thread and, since this was playing as I drove home in the new-to-me "big truck" this morning, it seemed appropriate to post up this one.
