Yeah, that would definitely kibosh many a thing, but the trade off is worth it. Tomorrow evening, Lady ToE and I will try to combat Life and motor on down to Napa to see The Mavericks. They are phenomenal live; possibly the best I have ever seen in concert.
We saw them last year in San Francisco and were wowed! The played with nonstop energy for four hours and had the crowd going like I have never seen. It should be a kick in the head.
I'll bet. The closest they come to here is NY City, but a 4 hour drive is not going to happen. Holding on hope for a DC or Baltimore show.
Four hour drives only happened when I was in my twenties to mid thirties. Now, an hour drive is a big deal when work is calling the next morning.
