Ain't that the truth. I was watching David Attenborough on TV. He was reminiscing about Madagascar 50 years ago, he described fifty years as: The day before yesterday. So true.
2 fingers of Bourbon, Fresh lemon juice, here's a neat trick, place a whole lemon in the microwave for 20 seconds, remove, halve & squeeze, you get twice the juice. 1⁄2 floz maple syrup, you can use cane sugar syrup if you prefer, & an egg white, garnish it with Angostura bitters. Beware, it is very, very moorish.

They are good! And dangerous and too easy to drink as well.
    :D

  7. Stopped in for a couple of afternoon Sweetwater Pale Ales. Cloudy unfiltered Pale Ales can be so good.

Nothing like a hazy afternoon ale, in a cool place! Looks like you're eating and drinking well today!

An Alaska Size shot glass of Makers Mark on the rocks. A good Grizzly Bear pour.

  10. It certainly helps to decompress. Hope all is good with you!

Coors lights and Modelos livened up an evening at the fair last night.

I bought a 6 pack of Leinenkugal's Berry Weiss to try, and have been working my way through that. Had a bottle last night. It reminds me of hard apple cider in texture.

Tonight, actually, sipped some very good Bushmill's 16 Year Old Single Malt, whilst enjoying our periodic Movie Night with friends.

  18. Friends came over last night & used a bottle of my Bourbon to make "Summer Manhattans". They brought 2 kinds of liqueurs (Lillet & a peach), bitters & some lemon zest. I drank one then went to straight pours while they continued to make their Manhattans.
