Yesterday, I sponteanously decided to drink a Grog for coffee & cake time at my Mom's apartment, because she has always bottles with leftover rum in the cellar, from kitchen usage. I never put sugar in and can't remember ever seeing someone doing this.
The rum was cheaper, generic "oversea rum" with 54°%. But the small rest in the bottle still had punch, I tell you! But the Grog was altogether very digestible, no headache.
Maybe I will do it again in wintertime.
