Price is right!
I think it looks feminine, because of black shearling.
Agree with Marc, also if I passed someone wearing one with just a quick glance I’d probably think it was a ‘Mall’ jacket...
I would prefer a jacket like this without the fuzzy cuffs and hem. To me that is what ultimately makes both the black and brown one look feminine.
Edit...ironically it's the ladies jacket that is config'd that way...makes no sense to me:
Lol imagine Carrot Top wearing this thing
No I'm not keen either. Buzz Rickson also offer one
Still wish someone would do a decent black fleece Irvin though.
Goodwear leather actually having a size 44 B3 on sale for 900.
Vanson used to do a very nice black B-3, not sure if they would still do one now.
Might be worth asking them.
I don’t get a feminine vibe from the jacket, I actually think it looks pretty sharp! It looks like they slimmed down the silhouette a little bit and made it more closely resemble a B6,
Does look like a slimmed down B3 doesn't it
I try not to picture Carrot top period. He frightens me. He is the stuff of nightmares.
Didnt know who ‘Carrot Top’ is, so I Goggled him....wish I hadn’t!!!!!
A delightful mix of plastic surgery and synthol oil injections.
An ANJ-4 in black would look good I'd imagine, SB would probably make one.
Feminine as in "a ladies jacket" sense, or more abstract as in Lost Worlds sense?
Just kidding, though to be honest I like the idea of a black B3, I love the William Gibson Buzz collection that Dav mentioned, iconic jackets in black.
I agree with Tony: "I would prefer a jacket like this without the fuzzy cuffs and hem. To me that is what ultimately makes both the black and brown one look feminine."
I don't really know why but for some reason black fuzzy cuffs look more feminine to me than brown ones. Maybe subconsciously this is what I see:
It does really look like a mall jacket. That black shearling is doing it no favors. I don't like the black leather either. Call me an old man, but I think a traditional B3 eats that for breakfast.
I agree. Most evident is the underarm pic. The stitching doesn't look great and the thing doesn't exude the quality expected for its price tier. I'm sure it's a fine jacket, but not too fine I'm afraid.
By looking at these gloves I totally get your point.
