That's a nice one DJH. It looks to have a greenish hue on my screen. Is that the case? Enjoy the d.s.t. it'll be better this evening.

Mountcastle slouch hat with puggaree removed. I picked this up off ebay for a summer hiking hat because it has a wide brim and a chin strap. A quick clean and steam and it was ready to go. Well that and I had to redo the chin strap. It seems many owners get lazy and just staple the strap to the leather lining instead of making a cut in the chin strap leather at the appropriate point.

David - that's an amazing Borso. That is so nice.
Great scenery in your photo ebony. I'm looking forward to some warmer weather and a chance to get back into the Cleveland Metroparks. They are often referred to as the Emerald Necklace, as they encircle the entire Cleveland area. It's the most lush area in Northeast Ohio - and that's saying quite a bit, as Ohio is boring land.

Wearing my Tumwater Midnite Blue.

I like the Stratsonian the best of all the new Stetsons I've seen. I'd keep it too!

Forced indoors this morning thanks to the stupid time change - feels like the middle of bloody winter again, dark cold and snowing :(

Anyway, at least I'm enjoying wearing my thin ribbon Borsalino
David, great Borso! And I detest the time change as well!

Good morning gents! Nice collection of fine lids to start the day...

g.durand, your Optimo Milan is making me anxious for Spring weather!
Joao, You wear Black Westerns well buddy! Your Resistol looks like my Black Stagecoach did before I trimmed down its 4 1/2 brim ;)
DJH, Very nice looking Borso!
ebony, that's a lot of brim, but looks perfect for hiking!
Andy, I really like that Tumwater!
hatophile, the Playboy is among my favorites!

Had the grandkids over this weekend....

My Grandson and I sported our Indy like hats...

This is a pic from last night, it's a Dobbs of unknown model. The brim is 2 1/4, do you guys think the shorter brim works for me or should I stick to the larger ones? I've been trying different hats with my recent weight loss success.

Johnny - very nice hat. How cold is it?

Rick - perfect for the setting.

Michael - the new Strat does look good on you. Great colour felt too. Nice Milan too, I think we're entering that time of year when it will be Straw one day and tweed the next :)

David - I love the felt and ribbon contrast on that one.

ebonysw45 - amazing scenery, and a great looking hiking hat.

Andy - that's one of the nicest blue hat's I've seen.

Perry - lovely looking playboy.

TJones - nice photos of you and the grand children.

Sam - always great to see a Fed, and I continue to have Whiskey envy :)

Ghost Rider - good to see you again, and a great looking Borso.

Reggie - I agree with Charlie, that Dobbs looks great on you.

manofKent it was +10c out on Sunday. Last Sunday it was-38c and took an hour to get my wife's van started. Had to boost it and plug it in. Oil froze. Looking forward to spring in a bad way. It's been a long cold winter.

Thanks. Do not trim it down.

For today this stingy Dobbs West. 3 1/4" brim  :mmph:

More pictures of it on the "new hats" thread... when I get there. :)
